PAHSI Annual Meeting 2009 and Alumni Fair. The support of alumni of Hanns-Seidel Foundation, who studied in Germany, has a long-standing tradition in the work of HSF Jakarta. For that reason, a specific alumni association, so called PAHSI, was founded in 2003 with the purpose to provide for its members: networking opportunities, contacts to German economy, recommendations for applicants of HSF Scholarship and joint German Culture explorations.

The 4th ASEAN State of the Environment Report 2009 was launched at the 11th ASEAN Ministerial Meeting, 29th October 2009 in Singapore. The publication is made possible with assistance of the Hanns Seidel Foundation and the Government of Japan. The launch was attended by 10 ASEAN Environmental Ministers and print and electronic media.
